Gordon Pirie

Gordon (Gordie) Pirie moved to the Glen Wills Valley 30 years ago.

He built most of the Retreat and his house on his own. The house is built with mud bricks and home-milled timber, and Gordie made most of the furniture. His workshop is fantastic!

The retreat is off-grid: electricity is generated by solar panels, and stored in batteries.

Gordie loves the outdoors. He skies, walks, swims and rides all around the valley. He knows the beautiful spots, and he is more than happy to share his extensive outdoor experience with his guests.
